I love kids! I love the fact that they don't worry about stuff like adults do. I love that they can laugh at silly things and play without being concerned about appointments, duties, or phone calls. There are no "to-do" lists among children. The best part of each day is when I get to come home and play with my kids. No deadlines. No worries. Just laughter and love. I often joke with my sweet wife that she is a poor single mother with 3 children. We can learn a great deal from our children, and that is something I am grateful for. I have learned so much from my dear children, and I love everything about them.
I decided to start this website to share some of the good times with other parents and hopefully give you some ideas on how you can help your child learn while still having fun. I taught preschool for a couple of years while earning my MBA, and although it was stressful at times, I look back and realize how great it was. I got paid to just play and have fun with preschoolers. Now I work in a management position at a Community College, which is great and all, but the highlight of each day is still coming home to my own children who just want to play with "Daddy".
I feel so blessed to have such wonderful children and such a supportive wife. I hope you will be able to take something from this site to help you teach your child and/or to help your child teach you. |
